Clear stamps and dies are essential tools in any cardmaker’s arsenal. Spellbinders’ October kit shines especially bright with its delightful array of Christmas animals. The clear stamp and die duo allows you to create detailed images with ease and precision.

With these clear stamps, you can effortlessly imprint intricate holiday motifs onto your cards. The accompanying dies ensure you can cut out these images with perfect borders, adding depth and interest to your cards. Layer them up or keep it simple—the choice is yours.

The beauty of this kit lies in its versatility. Whether you’re creating a minimalist card with a single embossed image or a more elaborate design featuring multiple layers, these tools offer endless possibilities. Plus, the high-quality materials mean you can use them again and again, long after the holiday season has ended.

Steps to Create the Card

  • Trim a piece of Christmas patterned paper to 5 1/4″ x 4″ (or use a rectangle die).  Attach the panel centered on a white A2 card base using a tape runner.  Read How To Make A Card Base for help making the card base.
  • Die-cut three small postage rectangles from green mirror cardstock.  Die-cut three dotted rectangles from white cardstock.  Use the ink on a brown blending brush to burnish the edges of the three white die-cuts.  Attach them centered on the green rectangles with a tape runner.
  • Stamp the bear, bunny, penguin, & sentiment on white cardstock with crisp black ink.  Ensure the ink is dry before coloring the images using alcohol markers.  Die-cut the images and attach them in the centers of the small rectangles using liquid glue.
  • Glue the penguin and bunny rectangles to the card front with liquid glue at opposite angles.  Pop up the bear rectangle and the sentiment with foam strips to create a little dimension.

Steps to Create the Card

  • Layer 1 – use a blending brush to blend red ink heavier around the edges of the ornaments.  And make sure that the little looks are good and dark.

  • Layer 3 – Pounce gold pigment ink over the third stencil to create beautiful metallic hangers.
  • Trim the stenciled panel to 4″ x 5 1/4″ (or use a rectangle die) and fasten centered on a white A2 card base with a tape runner.
  • Use the Betterpress of the Month kit with porcelain cardstock and black ink to create a fitting sentiment.  Then, make a back shadow using brushed gold cardstock and the smallest rectangle in the A2 Matting Basics B Die Set.
