Steps To Heat Emboss

Brush the entire piece of cardstock with Anti-Static Powder.  Next, ink up your stamp with watermark ink, and stamp it on the cardstock.
Sprinkle embossing powder over the ink and let it sit for a second. And then,  pour it off and give the card panel a tap. Next,  heat up our heat tool for about 40 seconds and then heat the embossing powder until it’s smooth and melted.
A key to high quality heat embossing is to make sure that your heat tool is good and hot.  That is why we heat it for for seconds.  I recommend a dual speed heat tool because it delivers a much better result using the highest speed, yet you can use it to dry dye and watercolor ink at the lower speed.
It's also helpful to heat the back of the cardstock that you're heat embossing first.  And then follow by heating the embossing powder on the front.  As a result, it will limit the amount of warping that the heat does to your card panel.
One last tip, if your panel does warp put it in a sandwich between two plain pieces of cardstock and run it through your die-cutting machine.
