Blended Rainbow Birthday Card Inspiration
I recently attended the Crop and Create Delivered Cardmaking (@CropandCreateDeliveredCardmaking) event where Gina Krupsky (@GinaAurelioKrupsky) taught us how to make this beautiful card.
It has a beautiful contrast between the rainbow background and the stark black images in front to create a striking card.
It starts off with masked rainbow ink blending on white cardstock. Then the silhouette and the sentiment are stamped. If I remember correctly Gina K said that the silhouette stamp will be available in her shop in December but you could also use a choice from her Autumn Silhouettes or Natural Silhouettes stamp sets and get something very similar.
Another thing that is really beautiful about the cards that Gina creates is her very narrow black borders. On this card, the border really sets off the focal image and frames it beautifully.

Pretty Little Package Birthday Card
I also learned how to make this card at the Crop and Create Delivered. Isn’t it cute?
And the kraft cardstock really makes the focal images stand out, doesn’t it?
This card also used masking but in a different way. And stamping directly onto the card panel.
Like the first card the stamp and die set was part of the supply kit that came for the event. I think that they were exclusive to the event but hopefully, you can find something similar in your stash.

Balloon Birthday Card Inspiration
I learned how to make this card in Altenew’s Polychromatic Online Class as part of their Educator Certification Program.
I love how overlapping the stamp makes the balloons appear to be translucent. And, the colors are perfect for a card for a guy!
This is another quick and easy card. Beginning with stamping the balloons onto the card panel. It’s a layered stamp set. By using clear embossing powder to add the second layer we get a shiny shadow that is the same color as the balloons.
A white gel pen is used to add the strings, isn’t that clever? And then the happy sentiment is stamped directly over the top.
