Anyway, Spellbinders introduced a lot of beautiful press plates to use year-round with the BetterPress system that you can find HERE. But, what I am sharing today is BetterPress Christmas! There are twenty-four press plates and products that Spellbinders have that make absolutely gorgeous Christmas cards. And today, I have six that I have made to share with you.

Blended Merry Christmas – Card 1 of 6 BetterPress Christmas Cards
I blend a Christmasy background and then use the Merry Christmas and Happy New Year Press Plates to create this awesome focal point. This is a fantastic card to mass produce because you can quickly blend the backgrounds up for as many cards as you need. And printing them takes just a second for each.

Noel – Card 2 of 6 BetterPress Christmas Cards
I just blend the edges of the card panel for this card. After which, I press it with the Festive Noel Press Plate. And then, I watercolor the tiny little images with dye ink.

Colored Merry Christmas – Card 3 of 6 BetterPress Christmas Cards
The Merry Christmas and Happy New Year Press Plate is such a great set. For one thing, it's absolutely gorgeous. It reminds me of all the magic of Christmas. But, there are so many different things that you can do with it too. I do a little bit of blending over the sentiment banners and then watercolor the pretty little details with dye ink on this one.
Wishing – Card 4 of 6 BetterPress Christmas Cards
I use a combination of the Christmas Greetings Press Plate with the Snowflake Wishes stamp and die set from Spellbinders' August 2023 release for the sentiment. And then I pop them up on a pretty blue background embossed with the Stylized Trellis Embossing Folder.
I paint this card with Distress Oxides. And then, to catch your eye's attention I tear out the image and pop it up on the background.
Peace On Earth – Card 5 of 6 BetterPress Christmas Cards
I designed this card to go with the beautiful Peace On Earth press plate. Because this sentiment is so beautiful I think it deserves something extra special.
To create the card I do a little blending on the card panel first. And then I hand paint the trees using Black Soot Distress Oxide with just a tiny bit of green down at the bottom for shadows. And, I vary the amount of detail and opacity for them with water.
Finally, I add falling snow by splatting some diluted white gouache and a spritz of shimmer spray.
Merriest Christmas – Card 6 of 6 BetterPress Christmas Cards
This card steps it up a notch with its regal colors and realistic mistletoe and winterberry. We do so with the Winterberry and Mistletoe die set from Susan's (@STierneyC) Holiday Flora Collection. And of course, the Merriest Christmas press plates create the star of the show.
