Materials to Make the Let’s Celebrate Card

Let’s Celebrate Card Step-by-Step Instructions

Elegant Handmade Let's Celebrate Greeting card featuring "Celebrate" in gold made with the Celebration Flowers registration plate from the new Spellbinders release.

Step 1: Prepare the Porcelain Card Panel

Tape an A2 size (4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″) Porcelain card panel centered on the plastic Betterpress top. This will be your starting point.

Step 2: Set Up the Registration Template

Tape the registration template to the magnetic insert on the chase. This ensures your design aligns perfectly.

Step 3: Align the “Celebrate” Plate

Line up the “Celebrate” plate to the template. Make sure it’s positioned correctly to achieve the desired look.

Step 4: Apply the Ink

Ink up the plate with gold pigment ink. Ensure the plate is evenly coated for a crisp and vibrant print.

Step 5: Run Through the Die Cutting Machine

Run the chase through the die cutting machine. This will transfer the inked design onto your Porcelain card panel.

Step 6: Dry the Ink

Remove the panel from the Betterpress top. If needed, use a heat tool to dry the ink quickly and prevent smudging.

Step 7: Attach the Background Panel for the Let’s Celebrate Card

Attach an A2 size patterned paper background panel centered on a white A2 card base using a tape runner. This will serve as the backdrop for your design.

Step 8: Prepare and Attach the Black Card Panel

Trim the black card panel to 3 5/8″ x 4 7/8″. Attach it centered on the colored panel with a tape runner. This adds a layer of depth and contrast to your card.

Let’s Celebrate Card Final Touches

Inspect your card to ensure everything is aligned and the ink is fully dried. Admire your handiwork and prepare to share it with someone special!

By following these steps, you’ll create a sophisticated and celebratory card that’s sure to impress. This card is also seen in 2 LetterPress Greeting Cards With Spellbinders New Release.  And, for a very similar card that is a bit more floral, check out the Floral Celebrate Greeting Card Tutorial.
