Even though this card looks quite complicated, it is actually quick and easy to produce. And, if you like to color, it would be great to mass produce.

We’re going to start by heat-embossing our images onto our black card panel. Beginning with brushing anti-static powder onto the card panel. As a result, the embossing powder will only stick to the ink and not anywhere else.

Next, we’ll stamp our images with watermark ink. And then, we’ll sprinkle some white embossing powder over the ink, pour it off and give the car panel a good tap. Following that, we’ll heat the powder just until it’s smooth and melted.

While we have our heat embossing tools out, we’ll go ahead and heat emboss our sentiment on a scrap piece of white cardstock with gold embossing powder.

Card Coloring and Assembly

Now, we’ll color using colored pencils. You can color the flowers any way that you want to. For this card, I started with the red in the center of the flower petals and then I added a pale peach around the edges and then touched up with some magenta. Then I added yellow to the centers of each flower. Similar to how we color the flowers, we color the center of the leave with darker green and then add lighter green around the edges.

Assembly of the card is quick and easy. We’ll trim the card panel to 4″ x 5 1/4″ and then center it on an A2 (4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″) card base with a glue runner. and then we’ll pop up the sentiment with foam tape or foam strips.
