How To Make Awesome Masculine Cards

Masculine cards made with embossing folders and colored pearlescent vellum.

Are masculine cards tough for you? It’s hard, isn’t it? Well, here are a couple of fun ideas that you can try.

All the projects in this article and in the one linked at the bottom use products from Altenew. I first fell in love with Altenew because of its wide selection of floral products that produce wonderful, realistic results.

But, their quality is what kept me hooked. Everything is top-notch and so well thought out. And then there are their inks. Who doesn’t love their huge selection with four shades of each color? I started out with the mini cubes and love them so much that I bought the whole set of large pads!

And now, I’m a certified Altenew Educator and couldn’t be happier than to present a few of my favorite masculine projects made using Altenew products.

For this first card, I use pearlescent vellum with the new Monstera Frame 3D Embossing Folder. And then I color the leaves on the backside using the two lighter greens from Green Fields Alcohol Markers.

I use the same Monstera Frame 3D Embossing Folder for the second card. But for this one, I use white layering cardstock. Next, I stamp the palms from Monsteras and Quotes using Frayed Leaf and Forest Glades. And then, I use the Monsteras and Quotes coordinating dies to cut them out.

Finally, I use the stamp the sentiment from the Monsteras and Quotes stamp set. I do so using my favorite ink for sentiments, Obsidian Pigment Ink. And then, I finish it off by splatting the card with Jet Black Ink Spray.
