I love creating personalized cards and this set has so many different options. It is fun to experiment with different color combinations and designs. It’s always so satisfying to see the finished product and know that I made it myself. I’m sure this set will provide endless hours of creative fun!

How To Make These 6 Amazing Cards.

I have 6 card ideas to share with you in this article. The process for making them is pretty simple. You start with stamping the cute little penguin images from the October 23 Monthly Clear Stamp and Die Set with waterproof black ink.

To make these 6 cards you need to arrange all of the penguins and the gift box so that you can stamp them all on an A2 (4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″) piece of cardstock. Then pick them up with the lid of your stamp positioning tool. And then stamp them on six different A2 pieces of white cardstock.

Next, you color the images with alcohol markers. This is where you can create a lot of differences between cards just by changing up the colors that you use.

The third step is to die-cut all of the images with the coordinating dies.

Now is when we need to decide on a background to use. For four of my cards, I just trim white pop-up glitter foam to 4″ x 5 1/2″ and fasten them to white A2 card bases with 1″ double-sided tape. And, we’ll use an embossing folder to create a cute snowflake design. But first, we’ll blend a little blue ink on the cardstock to give a pretty snowy effect.

Once the backgrounds are ready we can begin to play with our arrangements. This is where you just let your creativity flow. Once you decide on your arrangements you can stamp a sentiment for each card. Then find a die that fits nicely around your sentiments and cut them out. Spellbinders’ Deckled Rectangles die set is my go-to for this kind of thing. You can even add some more bling by adding a little glitter around the edges of the sentiment if you want.
