Spellbinders April 2024 Monthly Club Kits

5 Cards created with Spellbinders April 2024 Club kits.

The theme for the Spellbinders April 2024 Club Kits is sewing!  The products in these clubs are delightful!  I’ve got 5 cards and a couple of envelopes to share with you for inspiration.

But first, let’s take a look at the kits that I’m featuring with them.

Okay, let’s take a look at the cards now.

3D Embossing Folder April 2024 Monthly Club Kit

Spellbinders 3D Embossing Folder of the Month created a beautiful background for the Thinking of You card

Part of the beauty of belonging to a number of the clubs, or The Deluxe Caboodle, is that they coordinate beautifully with each other.  For example, my first card, Thinking Of You With Each Stitch, uses:

  • The Clear Stamp & Die, Happy Stitching,  for the sentiment
  • The Large Die, Pins & Needles Jar,  for the focal points
  • The 3D Embossing Folder, One Stitch at a Time, for the background

This one is pretty straight forward with simple stamping and die-cutting.  But, there’s something a little special about the background.  I love using embossing folders, but sometimes it’s hard to see the beautiful designs that they create.  For this one, you can showcase them by using a silver metallic marker and pearlescent watercolor paints to really make them pop.

You can find instructions and a supply list in the Thinking of You Card Tutorial.

Clear Stamp & Die & Wax Seal Club Kits

Happy Thoughts card made with Spellbinders Clear Stamp & Die April 2024 Monthly Clubs Kit

Believe it or not, you just need one little stamp from Happy Stitching, (the Clear Stamp & Die of the month) to create the lovely pattern on this card and matching envelope.

Just draw a line on each and start stamping.

I always love to pair Onyx cardstock with rainbows because it makes them look even more beautiful.

Step by step instructions on how to make this card with a full supply list can be found in the Happy Thoughts Card Tutorial.

Stencil April 2024 Monthly Club Kit

A greeting card with a "You Are Sew Amazing" message is displayed among green leaves and a crochet mat, with a wall and crafting materials in the background. The scene captures the essence of SOM Apr24C, blending creativity and charm effortlessly.

This is another quick and simple card because of these stencils from Rainbow Floss Background.

Using layered stencils like this creates beautiful images in minutes.  However, I like to step them up a little by adding some detail with colored pencils.  Just add some highlights, outlines and a little shading, and it makes a huge difference.

And, you can use one of the sentiments from the Glimmer April 2024 Monthly kit as a press plate to make it perfect.

Instructions and a full supply list to make this card are at You are Sew Amazing Card Tutorial.

Glimmer & Wax Seal Monthly Club Kit

Stitched With Love Card & envelope made with Spellbinders' Glimmer Of The Month April 2024 Monthly Club Kit

This kit, Sew Amazing, is really fun because it has so many different plates that you can use in a number of ways.  The Stitched with Love card shows how you can layer hot foil with different glimmer plates and different colors of foil.

And, you can even add foil to your envelopes with a little help from best ever craft tape.

Large Die April 2024 Monthly Club Kit

A decorative jar with sewing accessories and a tag that reads "You are sew amazing," surrounded by green plants. In the background, a pair of scissors and a spool of white thread add charm. Perfect for any crafting corner, this Apr24C edition is both functional and inspiring.

I’ve been sewing my whole life.  And I would love to receive a gorgeous shaker card like You Are Sew Amazing.

This die set is chock full of all the things you use to sew and embroider:  scissors, thread and needles, safety pins, buttons, embroider floss and more.  As soon as I saw the die to make a jar I knew that I wanted to use it to make a shaker card.   You just have to cut out the center of the frame pieces with a craft knife and you’re good to go.
