Pristine Peonies: Stamp and Layered Stencils
The card that I am featuring as part of the hop was inspired by a combination of a card that Jennifer McGuire taught during Online Card Classes, Stenciled 2, and a card that Kristina Werner did on her blog. They both used Altenew’s Pristine Peonies stamps and layered stencils and I fell in love with the set while watching them create their magic with them.
To create the card I also used a couple of great new Altenew products. Their new stamp positioning tool, the Stampwheel, is fantastic for holding your cardstock and stencils in place while blending over them (it’s great for stamping too). And then, to color the card I use the new Fresh Dye inks and Mini Blending Brushes, both of which are a dream to blend and stencil with.
How To Make A Card Using Layered Stencils
In addition to the fun little video that I did for the hop, I filmed making the card so that you have step-by-step instructions on how to make a card like this too.
Enjoy the video.
