Does your Dad love Winnie The Pooh? Learn how to make a cute card for him for Father’s Day with step-by-step instructions.
My Dad loved Winnie the Pooh so when I saw this new stamp set from @Unity I had to have it. It just makes me think of him, his playful nature, and all the great memories I have with him. So this one is for you Dad!
To make the card we’ll begin by blending the background. And, this is an experiment that works pretty well. When we do this, there is a risk that the green will discolor things like Christopher’s legs and Pooh and Piglet. But it actually results just fine.
We just divide the card panel into thirds and blend the light blue on the top two-thirds and then green (lightly) on the bottom third.

Now we’ll stamp the image and the sentiments at the same time using our stamp positioning tool with black multi-media ink. And then we’ll begin to add color with our water-reactive pencils. To demonstrate how this is done, I like to add more color where I think that the shadows should be. And then as you drag the pigment with water it gives dimension to the image.
Finishing the card is simple. Just attach the card panel to the card base with a double-sided adhesive foam sheet. And you’re done.
Happy Father’s Day Dad! I miss you!!!
