How To Make Cute Halloween Cards

Three cute Halloween cards featuring hand-drawn witches in hats and capes. The cards have colorful, festive decorations and text reading “A Halloween Hello” and “Where’s the Candy?”.

Halloween is just around the corner and it’s time to make your Halloween cards now. Read on to learn how to make these cute Halloween cards.

All three of the cards that we’ll make in this article have the same cute little witch for their focal points. The coloring for the witch uses gamsol and colored pencils, the following video explains how

We create both of these cards using the process described in the video. But, the only difference between them is that we use patterned paper for the background on the card panel for the one on the right.

We step it up a notch for this card by using Gina K’s Wreath Builder to create a beautiful background for our witch.

Once we finish the witch we can set up the 5 1/4″ template in our stamp positioning tool. And then we’ll cut a piece of cardstock 5 1/4″ square from white cardstock. We do this because this size fits perfectly into the template.

Wreath Building

Now, we’ll place the cardstock into the template. And it’s important that the cardstock is in the vertical position (as opposed to diagonal). We’ll place the pumpkin stamp right in the center at the top and then pick it up with the lid of our stamp positioning tool. And then we’ll stamp it with orange ink.

Next, we’ll rotate the cardstock to the next position in the template, which is diagonal. And we’ll stamp the pumpkin again. Then, we’ll rotate the cardstock again in the same direction as the first time. And we’ll repeat the process until the cardstock has been in each position (8 times).

You can repeat the process with your choice of stamps and colors until you are happy with your wreath. I added in some sequins too. The Assembly of the card is the same as we used for the previous cards.
