How To Make 2 Beautiful Fall Cards with BetterPress.

2 beautiful cards featuring Spellbinders BetterPress Fall/Halloween collection.

We have not 1, but 2 beautiful fall cards to make in today’s article. We will show you how to make them and what to use.

Welcome to my blog! I am so happy to share a couple of really wonderful new Spellbinders products with you. Spellbinders’ newest release is available on August 10th. And it has three products that I use in my cards today:

  • Autumn Thanks Frame Press Plate
  • Autumn Leaves Press Plate and Die Set
  • Notched Corner Frame Die Set

Fall Frame: Card 1 of 2 Beautiful Fall Cards

A beautiful fall card with colorful autumn leaves framing the text: "Thanks, you make the world a better place," crafted on a wooden surface with BetterPress precision.

To create the first card, you’re going to blend autumn shades of red, yellow, and green randomly onto a piece of BetterPress cardstock. And then, you’ll press it with the Autumn Thanks Frame Press Plate and Mahogany ink.

While you have the BetterPress System out, go ahead and press the sentiment on another piece of BetterPress cardstock.

The fourth smallest notched corner frame die is the perfect size to fit inside the Autumn Thanks Frame. So, we’ll use it to die-cut the sentiment. And then, we’ll blend a little bit of brown ink around the edges of it.

Now, we’ll fussy-cut out the frame and assemble all the pieces and that is it for our beautiful Fall Frame card.

Falling Leaves: Card 2 of 2 Beautiful Fall Cards

Cards with huge betterpess leaves blended with pretty fall colors.

The beautiful jewel tones of the leaves against the mahogany background are so striking, aren’t they?

This card is great for mass production because it’s quick and easy, yet, the results are very impressive.

We’ll press this one first using the Autumn Leaves plates and we’ll use black ink to do so. Then, we’ll randomly blend the same three colors we use for the first card. But, we’ll use a much lighter hand. Use the coordinating dies to cut each of the leaves out.

And then, if you want to, you can use flower-making tools to add some dimension to the leaves.

Beautiful thank you card featuring autumn leaves on a dark brown background with the word "Thanks" written on it, perfect for Fall cards created by BetterPress.

Then, press the sentiment from the Autumn Thanks Frame with Mahogany ink and fussy-cut out only the “Thanks”.

All that’s left to do is to assemble the card. You do so by attaching the color accent with a tape runner and then you pop up the leaves and sentiment with foam squares and it’s done.
