We are super excited to share with you something new and fun that you and your kids will enjoy. We’re teaching them how to make cards!
My nephew, Jens, and I are collaborating on a series of videos intended to teach kids how to make cards.
Jens decided that he would like to learn how. So I sent him a couple of boxes of crafty goodness to get started with. As a result, he has things like a Cuttlebug die-cutting machine, a couple of stamp sets, some dies, inks, colored pencils, a couple of embossing folders, and a stencil set to play with.
And then we started meeting once a week on Zoom. During our first couple of “classes”, we became familiar with his new tools and played with them a little bit. We had so much fun together during our first “class” that we decided that we would like to share what we’re doing and our videos with you in hopes that you can learn too.
We’re including the first three videos here. But, we will also publish a separate article for each one so that it is easy for you and your children to find. But we’re also going to attach some links to make it easier for you to find the things we’re using.
How Kids Can Use a Die-cutting Machine

How To Use Embossing Folders
We learned a couple of different ways to use embossing folders to make cards.
Stamping Sentiments For Kids
In this article, we learn what sentiments are and work on creating them.
Sign up to our mailing list (over on the right side) because we will send our newsletters to you where you will get a bunch more card ideas and you’ll get notices of new articles that have been posted. And as a result, you’ll know every time we publish a new Kids Making Cards article.
Additionally, we’d love for you to leave comments on topics that you would like for us to cover in future videos and articles.
We hope you have fun!
