What isn’t to love about rainbows and birthday celebrations? What a set! This is quite a lengthy article because these great products are so fun to work with. And as a result, you can make 2 for 1 with many of them.

Spellbinders’ New Release – Stitched Fan Fare

First up is the Stitched Fanfare S3-452

I fell in love with this cover die the moment I laid eyes on it. There are so many different ways that you can use it to create stunning cards!

Colorblocked Fanfare Card – Card 1

The first card uses a bright rainbow color block with glitter paper behind it. But, if that isn’t enough bling, we add some holographic mirror cardstock for the die-cut sentiment.

Stitched Fanfare Card – Card 2

The next card gets its bling from the silver metallic thread used for stitching each of the fans. As a result, you get this beautiful kind of two-dimensional feel to the card.

The color behind this card was discovered after setting it on top of a pack of patterned paper. As a result, the muted rainbow background is a perfect backdrop for elegant stitching. And then a stamp from the new birthday celebration collection, Complementary Slider Greetings STP-118 creates a beautiful sentiment to complement the stitched card.

Fanfare Shaker Card – Card 3

The third card is not only beautiful, but it’s also fun. That’s because it has tiny glittery confetti that comes into view as you move and shake it around.

We don’t want to lose sight of what this stunning card is all about, so we use a lovely hot foiled sentiment on vellum using a foil that matches the confetti.

Party Decor – Spellbinders’ New Release

Oh my goodness, the versatility that this die, Spellbinders Party Decor S3-453, gives us! You can use it to decorate literally all of your cards with banners, flags, baubles, and strings.

Party Decor Card 1

This first card takes advantage of a beautiful hot plate from Spellbinders Tis the Season Collection called String Lights Background. And for the foil, it uses a sparkly gold foil to spice it up. Then colored baubles cut from glitter paper using the Spellbinders Party Decor S3-453 die are fastened on over the top of some that were foiled.

And there we go again with a pretty rainbow for our birthday celebration.

The sentiment uses the foil negative from another Spellbinders hot foil plate, Mini Everyday Sentiments on white cardstock that is cut out using the coordinating die in the same set.

Party Decor Card 2

A similar effect to the first Party Decor card can be achieved by using all of the dies in the Spellbinders Party Decor S3-453 set with the same glitter paper. But it results in a completely different look but attaching them to black cardstock.

The same hot foil plate used in the first Party Decor card, Mini Everyday Sentiments is used in this one, but silver foil was used on a scrap of blue cardstock instead.

So Many Candles! from Spellbinders’ New Release

Wow, is this hot foil plate fun to work with! And, you get two cards from each piece of foil that you use!

So Many Candles Bright Blended Card – Card 1

If you like bright beautiful rainbows with an artsy flair like I do, then this is the card for you!

For this card we create it’s bright candle background by blending Distress inks with mini blending brushes onto a white card panel. And then, we use gold foil with Spellbinders So Many Candles Glimmer Hot Foil Plate over the top.

The background is too pretty to cover it up! So we stamp the sentiment from from the new birthday celebration collection, Complementary Slider Greetings STP-118 onto vellum so that you can still see the candles. Additionally, we use black sparkly embossing powder to give it some glitz.

So Many Candles Happy Cake Day Cards With Matching Tag

The same hot foil plate, Spellbinders So Many Candles Glimmer Hot Foil Plate, is used for the next pair of cards with a matching tag. But this time, rainbow foil is providing the color. A different sentiment from Spellbinders Complementary Slider Greetings STP-118 is also used with dies to create the focal points for the cards.

Similarly, the tag uses a simple sentiment using gold foil and Spellbinders Glimmer Mini Everyday Sentiments.

Stunning So Many Candles Card – Card 3

The negative piece of foil that is left over our first candles card is used to create another beauty. And then, the rainbow candles are blended onto white cardstock, like the first card. But a little yellow for the flames is blended across the top to light them up.

Spellbinders solid rectangle hot foil plate is used to foil over the candles. And then the Happy Birthday from Spellbinders Glimmer Mini Everyday Sentiments is used with gold foil on a scrap of purple cardstock.
