Our May '22 post card has a Super cute shark colored with alcohol markers.
A cute shark is the focal point on this cad for the May '22 Post.

Shark week is coming up in July therefore, today’s secret post is all about sharks. And, we’ve put together a video on how to make a very cute card to celebrate them.

The music in the video is by bensound.com.

This card is a lot of fun to make!

We begin by blending the background. And we’ll start with the lightest teal and blend it across the panel horizontally. Then we’ll blend the next shade of teal slightly overlapping the lightest. And we’ll repeat this two more times until we have all four shades of teal.

When we finish the blending, we’ll trim our card panel to 3 3/4″ x 5″ with a deckle trimmer.

Next, we’ll stamp our images onto a piece of white cardstock with black ink. And then, we’ll color them with alcohol markers. Once the coloring is complete, we will cut them out with the dies that coordinate with the stamps.

Finishing the card is simple. We’ll attach the card panel to the card base with a glue runner. And after that, we’ll decide how we will arrange our images on the card front. Once we have settled on the layout, then we can figure out where to put the sentiment. And we’ll stamp it once we’ve settled on its location.

Now that the sentiment is on our card, then we can glue the images onto the card.
